Stocking Special Regulation Sections at Green Hill Park and Salem April 2, 2008 Those assisting with the Salem section were: Bayes Wilson, Joe Nawrocki, Dick Vipperman, Jon Wilson and Dan Phlegar. We stocked several nice browns in the 5 to 8 pound range and many normal size trout. Ernie was great as always. Click on picture to see full size. Pictures by Jon Wilson.
Stocking, Green Hill Park, Wednesday, April 2, 2008.
The April stocking at Green Hill park went very well with a
good turnout of volunteers. We handed the buckets over the silt fence so
that was not a problem. The new paved greenway path made stocking of the
lower section a lot easier and we were done by 10:00am. We had a good mix of
both large and medium size trout. At the next stocking Andy suggested
changing the procedure and start at the lower end and work our way upstream.
