Ms. Hey brought all of her students (70+) and several assistants for a tour of the Paint Bank Hatchery. The staff of the hatchery provided an outstanding presentation for the students. Special thanks to Brian, Ernie and J.B. for their time and program. TU members, Jon Wilson, Jack Ward, George Kesler and Hans Loberg set up fly casting and fly tying instruction for the students. The students were broken into smaller groups, taking turns going through different sections of the hatchery and then casting and fly tying. All attending seemed to have a good time and the students were very well behaved and a pleasure to spend time with. Ms. Hey took back to her classroom 220 Brook Trout eggs to be placed in her aquarium.
