ROARING RUN CLEAN-UP - SATURDAY, 20, 2005

Went down to a total of four folks this time. Bayes Wilson, Jack Ward, John W. Shilley, Jr. and yours truly. Not much to pick up as the swimmers, picnickers and "trashers" haven't shown up in force yet this year.  We collected small parts of our bags with various papers, cans, metal pipe, bucket handle, etc. and half of a rake head. Went from the third foot bridge to the upper falls. And, some kind soul(s) removed our "Adopt-A-Stream" sign, that was attached to the big tree at the end of the footbridge and deposited it somewhere unbeknownst.  Time to call it a day with the stream clean ups as far as I'm concerned. Will be turning in the last report and the materials at the next meeting or sooner.

Photos attached. Thought about labeling #4, below, "John's Leap of Faith" as he was crossing a deep area upstream!
